7aa9394dea Fantasy Grounds - D Amp;D Curse Of Strahd I just started this campaign, I am a new DM, it's very hard for me to imagine how can people run a campaign without some form of help like this. Just started the death house, everything is so well built and well written. I still need to practice my role playing skills though. Let me say first of all, I LOVE this adventure. Thestory and background is SO rich, and the adventure so open ended, I let my players "write" their own story... and it still fits nicely in the world. If you can be flexible and let your players go where they please, this will be an an adventure they will talk about for years to come. Chris Perkins is a master, in my opinion, and this is yet another shining gem both from WoTC and Smiteworks. If you have not started collecting adventures yet for 5e, do yourself a favor, and start here. others are great, too... but this hits on all cylinders as a horror game for me, surpassing even my experience with Pathfinder and the Carrion Crown Saga. 3 dimensional NPC's, just the right creep factor, and easily 10+ levels for characters to advance. AMAZING!!. Absolutely fantastic adventure. Expertly written, but you will need to devote some time to read through everything before getting started. One negative is that some of the maps are not good (or even usable in some cases). Castle Ravenloft is made up of isometric maps instead of 2d battle maps. To remedy this, I've worked with a community artist and optimized his maps for use in Fantasy Grounds. They have all the pins moved over from the module for easy use. You can check them out for free on the DMs Guild. Let me say first of all, I LOVE this adventure. Just started the death house, everything is so well built and well written. I still need to practice my role playing skills though. Edit: turns out Steam had a glitch and did not download the content. Took a bit to get resolved but now it works and the material is fantastic! Can't figure out how to access the content in fantasy grounds. I have checked forums and other areas but all anything ever says is "you have to activate the content in the library." I have no idea what that means. I have gone to the library in my fantasy grounds game but there is no curse of strahd content to activate. So, yeah, not too happy at the moment.... Where is the refernece manual for this adventure? This is one of the adventures where you'l want to read the whole thing through before running it. Without being able to navigating back and forth between chapters, especially due to the sandbox nature of the adventure, makes running this much harder. I would avoid at all costs this until they've patched this adventure.. Edit: turns out Steam had a glitch and did not download the content.
